The first week of the new year is off to an exciting start. I had an amazing birthday. It was raining… torrentially at times but I still enjoyed the opportunity to play in hair and makeup.

I’ve had a few setbacks within the past 6 months. But it’s given me a lot of time for reflection. Charting a new path is exciting and change is sometimes hard and scary. But I have two choices, jump or be pushed. XOXO
I am in a deep passionate love affair with myself and I am no longer ashamed to admit it.
I find that the more my branding and Visual Design practice is steady, the more I have the need to incorporate structured design exercises into my everyday workflow. Since I am more visual in nature and feel more comfortable with expressing myself visually, MoodBoarding has become like my digital journal. I can explore themes, ideas and concepts as well as develop new styles and techniques. The dark feminine archetype has long since been a central theme of most of my visual art so this exercise goes beyond the moodboard format and more specifically into storytelling.
