life sucks, i hate everything. Didn’t get any flowers for Valentine’s Day nor my 12 Anniversary, but I still got to cook breakfast. Welcome to 40 Adah.   Teresa Duncan, Arbus, Diane, Jeanne Hébuterne, & Frida Kahlo keep popping in my head. I just want to run from everything….. just walk & keep walking and start anew.

my sister is back around.  she’s clean & sober now. thanks to an 8 month stint in the pen.  it’s the best i’ve seen her in years.  I’ve been reuniting wih all types of people from way back.  Things are moving real fast for me right now. New clients & projects…yada yada all work no play. I’m so boring. I love the rain that we’ve been having.  I can’t complain about anything.  Got a real busy week coming up. That will hopefully result in more work….yeah i’m that boring.

My new cell is off for those who have noticed.  My Blackberry got hacked and started autodailing people in my address book.  My apologies to those of you who have recieved strange calls from me.  So that did it for me & the cell phone agian… but it does keep decent time.

I’m doing a live painting down in China Town tomorrow night @ a club called UltraLuxx.  I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures & keep you posted.

ya know, one thing that irritates me about myself….. sometimes it’s hard for me to accept help from others. I’m trying to work on that.

…Yeah, I’m still New Yearing. Cyrus’s birthday was yesterday…. It must be really good to be a 9 yr. old kid who wants nothing.

All he wanted was a cake. And that’s what his mama got him.  I guess there is some type of threshold for consumerism…. even for kids.  I asked, ” Are you sure there isn’t something that you want?”  And his reply was, “But I already have you Mom!” …..Yes I cried.

I tell ya there’s so much love in the world it’s intoxicating.

Life is about choices… and one of the best choices that I have ever made was becoming a mom.

My AfroPuff Trademark is official. I have three new stalkers: A neurosurgeon from UCLA, An antiques dealer, and A real estate developer.  They are harmless at this point.  Oh, and my neighbors toilet exploded yesterday and my store got flooded and I spent the day mopping up water seeping from under the wall.

Well people, it must be a sad state of affairs in the world when I’m being sought out and invited to be part of the establishment!  What do I mean? What you don’t grok?!;D

Earlier this week this museum scout from the Architectural + Design Museum came to the shop and invited me to come wreck shop @ at their annual Art Bash 2008 on Museum row on Wilshire Blvd. So I said,”Sure!”

I mean come on! No Censorship! WTF! It’s happening to me and  I still don’t believe it!.   I went last night to set up and was totally blown away to (1) see that the shit was real, (2) Everyone was so nice and accomidating.  I just knew when I put in my dvd to start my projection that they would be like, “No thanks!”  But it’s a funny what a difference a few months can make.  When I broadcasted “WHERE’S MY BAILOUT BITCH” a couple of months ago, most didn’t get it and were a bit put off.  BUT MUTHAFUCKAS get that shit NOW!  I taped the final episode of COSMIC MUMBO JUMBO 19, but do to the closure of the Public Access system on Dec. 31 — CMJ 19 will never be aired by cable  broadcast.  Oh well, as on door closed another flew open…..& i didn’t even have to do anything!

I know i said i wasn’t going to do anything special for my 40th, but it seems the universe has other plans for me.

Today, the A+D Museum and next saturday I’ll be showing up @ Ayanna’s in Pasadena  [it won’t be bourgie I swear!] for my PAPER DOLLS SHOW.  I’m having a Paper Doll workshop the entire day! Yeah, my first workshop! [Please don’t overwhelm me — you know how I like to be on Low Key vibe].

So! How long do you think that I will be able can claim underground outsider status?
